A chance for people living in Geordie land to meet and make friends! Our friend meeting events are about bringing you together with other fun people looking to make friends and enjoy fun times. Sometimes the friends we have had for years have less time on their hands due to family and work commitments. We have noticed a growing number of people who want to meet others who have time on their hands for good times. Meeting others like yourself can allow you to have the fun adventures you are craving.

What to Expect
This friend speed meet means you can meet lots of people your own age in a short space of time. You can make friends, have a laugh, and even potentially find romance, you decide!

During the event, you will be given the chance to meet everyone who attends with a short 4 minute date. Our professional hosts and well-organised events make meeting people easy and lots of fun. Come with a smile and an open mind, you never know who you could meet at one of our events. This event is a chance to meet many students from a range of different universities.

When you arrive, our lovely SpeedDater host will welcome you and sign you in. You will be assigned a badge number that will match one of the table numbers, then you will rotate from table to table until everyone has met. To help you remember all participants, you will have a card to mark down the names of those you connected with. There will also be a break for a few drinks, laughs, and banter.

And after the event?
The day after your event, you can log in to our secure website and click the 'matches' tab. You will find out who you mutually matched with and continue building on that connection via our messaging system.
